Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has been the Lutheran presence in Rockville Centre since 1899.
Holy Trinity is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and, more locally, the Metropolitan New York Synod. As Lutherans, we believe in the power of faith in Jesus Christ to save us. We hold as means of grace the two sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. Baptism joins us to Christ and to the Body of Christ which is the Church. We also believe in the Eucharist as the Body and Blood of Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine. At Holy Trinity, we welcome to our table to receive Communion all , regardless of denomination, who truly believe the bread and wine to be Body and Blood of Christ. We also believe in the Scriptures, God's word, read and studied not superficially, but in its true depth and power, as foundational for the life of faith. Regardless of your faith tradition, who you love, or your journey to this point, you are welcome here. This is God's house and you are God's child; therefore, this is your home too.
