Pr David Grainson has been pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since May 2014. Holy Trinity is Pr David's first call within the ELCA. Prior to being called to Holy Trinity, Pr David was a Licensed Social Worker. After working for 13 years in the mental health field, Pr David felt a deep call to enter into ministry as a pastor. After finding a home within the ELCA and becoming a pastor, he was called by Holy Trinity to serve with them . Pr David and his wife Sarajean have been married since 2001 and have three sons.
Deacon Grace Sabella has served at Holy Trinity for many years. She became a deacon in April 2015. Deacon Grace is a member of the the Worship, Christian Education, and ECC committees. In addition, she leads a monthly prayer group and teaches children preparing to receive 1st Communion. Deacon Grace worked for many years as a history teacher in both a Roman Catholic seminary as well as a yeshiva. She was chair of the history department in both schools.
Deacon Sarajean Grainson has been a deacon at Holy Trinity since April 2018. She has always been integral in ministry at Holy Trinity. She leads our Mighty Youth High School Youth Group. She also assists with Confirmation, Prayer Ministry, and Christian Education among many other things. Prior to coming to Holy Trinity, Sarajean was also a case manager for adults with mental illness for 6 years.
Deacon John Malone was called to serve at Holy Trinity in November 2019. John has been a deacon in the Metro New York Synod for 10 years. He and his wife Nancy co-direct the Diaconal Council for the Synod. John's ministry at Holy Trinity centers on leading our worship band, teaching music to our Sunday school children, and monthly bible study.
Teri Mallozzi has been administrative assistant at Holy Trinity since December of 2016. Before coming to Holy Trinity, Teri worked in business management, sales, HR, and marketing. She is an incredibly valuable part of our team. Teri makes Holy Trinity run smoothly and a generally nicer place to be.
Lynn Butteis our current congregational council president. Lynn is a long time member here at Holy Trinity. As well as serving as president of council, Lynn is on our social ministry, property, and finance committees. Lynn and her family have been members of Holy Trinity for over 18 years.
Rob DiPasquale is music director at Holy Trinity. He has been with us since September 2019. Rob graduated from SUNY Fredonia in May 2019 with a Bachelors degree in music focusing on piano performance. Rob is a life long resident of Rockville Centre and has loved playing music since he was a child.
Lori Ericson is the director of Holy Trinity's Early Childhood Center. Lori has been Director since October 2017. Previous to becoming director, Lori taught at the ECC for 23 years. Lori is a extraordinary educator and leader of the ECC and its staff.
